What happens next??

1. Get in touch

You’re welcome to contact me directly to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, your funeral director may make the initial contact on your behalf. Once I have some basic details, I will be in touch with you personally.

2. Meeting and planning
We will arrange a meeting to talk things through and begin planning the service together. This can take place in your home, at a café or community space, or online via Zoom if that is more convenient. During this time, I will listen carefully to your memories, wishes, and any ideas you already have.

3. Creating a bespoke ceremony
Every ceremony I create is unique. I will help you choose readings, music, poetry, prose, or prayers if you wish. The service may reflect religious faith, spiritual beliefs, or contain no religious content at all. Family and friends can be involved as much or as little as feels right for you.

4. Draft and approval
I will carefully craft a personalised service and email you a draft copy to read through. You’ll have time to reflect, make changes, and ensure everything feels exactly right before giving your approval.

5. On the day
On the day of the ceremony, I will be there to guide and support you, delivering the service with warmth, professionalism, and care. My aim is to create a meaningful, respectful, and heartfelt ceremony that truly reflects the life being honoured and gives you space to remember, reflect, and say goodbye.

What’s included in my fee:
My fee includes all the support and preparation needed to create and deliver a meaningful, well‑organised ceremony, including:
  • Your Content Goes Here
  • All phone, email and message communications throughout the planning process
  • A personal meeting to gather the information needed to create your ceremony (this can be in person or online if preferred)
  • Writing your ceremony script, with the opportunity to review and request changes as many times as you wish
  • Guidance and suggestions for readings, poems, music and personal elements
  • Liaison with any other people involved in the ceremony, where required
  • Leading and delivering the ceremony on the day in a professional, warm and organised manner
  • A copy of the final ceremony script provided afterwards for you to keep
  • Travel for meetings and the ceremony within an agreed local area
